Green Gables Estate Wedding in San Marcos, CA
Nancy and Ken married on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at Green Gables Wedding Estate, a Trademark Venues property tucked among the oaks of San Marcos in North County San Diego. With 180 of their favorite people around them, it was a day of twinkle lights, towering rose arches, and laughter that carried from the morning in the Bridal Salon to the last song of the night.
Green Gables was a perfect fit for them. A storybook white schoolhouse set the scene for their first look, their ceremony took place beneath sprawling oaks, and the reception tent glowed under crystal chandeliers.

Getting Ready in the Bridal Salon at Green Gables
Nancy’s day began in the sunlit Bridal Salon at Green Gables Wedding Estate, surrounded by lace, florals, and her bridesmaids. The invitation suite, rings, and perfume set the tone before Mom helped her into her gown and Dad saw her for the first time.
First Look at the Schoolhouse
Ken waited on the lawn in front of the estate’s white schoolhouse, hands folded and a little nervous. When Nancy tapped his shoulder, his reaction said everything.
Portraits and the Wedding Party
Green Gables is a portrait playground, with a vine-covered arbor, a tiered fountain, and old trees draped in twinkle lights. Nancy and Ken shared quiet romantics before their four bridesmaids and four groomsmen joined in.
The Ceremony Under the Oaks
At 5pm, 180 guests gathered beneath the oaks, where Mai Floral Design’s towering arches of blush and peach roses framed the altar. Ken watched Nancy walk down the aisle, and the vows that followed were the heart of the day.
Cocktail Hour and Sunset Portraits
While guests enjoyed cocktail hour, we slipped away with the newlyweds as the light went soft toward sunset. The estate’s sweeping lawn, tree swing, and glowing oaks gave us some of our favorite frames of the day.
Reception: First Dance, Toasts and Celebration
Under chandeliers and string lights in the reception tent, Nancy and Ken made their grand entrance straight into their first dance. Heartfelt toasts followed, and then the whole room crowded in for one giant group photo.
Cake Cutting and Nighttime Romantics
A two-tier white cake topped with swans set the scene for a sweet cake cutting. We closed the night with a few romantics under the twinkle lights.
